CARE GUIDE

To keep your flowers looking their best, they require a little ongoing care, ensuring you can enjoy their presence for as long as possible.

HAND-TIED ARRANGEMENTS

Unwrap with care

Gently remove the bouquet from its packaging, taking care to unwrap the paper and aqua pack.

2

Do not remove tie

We kindly ask that you leave the tie in place, as it helps the bouquet maintain its beautiful arrangement.

3

Prepare your vase

Fill your selected vase with lukewarm water and pour in the flower food, making sure it fully dissolves before placing  your arrangement inside. Keep the vase out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or air conditioning units. Change the water daily or at least every second day.

4

Trim the stems

Using sharp scissors, cut 1-2cm off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. Re-trim every 2-3 days. As time passes, it's important to regularly remove wilting or dead blooms to prevent contamination of the healthy ones.

ORCHIDS

Placement

  • Position your arrangement in a bright room with plenty of indirect natural light.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the flowers and foliage.

  • Keep away from radiators, fireplaces, air conditioning units, and draughty areas.

  • Ideal temperatures are between 18–24°C.

2

Watering

  • Orchids prefer to dry slightly between waterings.

  • Check the moss or growing medium weekly. When it feels almost dry, add a small amount of water directly to the base of each orchid.

  • Avoid overwatering, as standing water can damage the roots.

  • Never allow water to collect in the crown (centre) of the plant.

3

Humidity

  • Orchids enjoy a moderately humid environment.

  • Avoid placing the arrangement near sources of dry heat.

  • A naturally bright kitchen or bathroom can often provide ideal conditions.

4

Ongoing care

  • Remove any spent flowers as they fade to keep the arrangement looking its best.

  • Handle blooms gently, as they can bruise easily.

  • Once flowering has finished, the orchids can often bloom again with continued care.

  • Individual plants may be removed from the arrangement and repotted into specialist orchid compost if desired.
